The End of Age

Is the end times or commonly known as the last days true or fallacy? To answer this question let us go deeper to the very Word of God. Matthew 24 details the signs of the coming of Jesus and of the end of age.

Verse 1, 2: Destruction of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem:

• The Temple was destroyed in 70AD by the Roman Empire

Verses 4, 5: There will be false Messiah and many will be deceived:

• Pastor Apollo Quiboloy proclaims that he is the appointed Son of God (Christ).

Verse 6: We will hear wars and rumors of war:

• World War 1
• World War 2

Verse 7: Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom:

• Middle East conflict
• Civil war

Verse 7: There will be famines and earthquakes in various places:

• Poverty increases in different continent that leads to famine.
• Tsunami in Asia
• Earthquakes in different continents.

Verse 9: Believers in Christ will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and will be hated by all nations because of the name of Jesus:

• Missionaries in the Middle East and some part of the world were killed, burned and beheaded because they preached the gospel of Christ.
• Today, people get offended when we talk about Jesus.

Verse 10: At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each others:

• Apostasy within the church prevails.
• Faith in God becomes lesser and lesser.
• Friend against his friend
• Brother against his brother

Verse 11: Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people:

• Preacher Harold Camping who falsely prophecy that May 21, 2011 will be the end of times but after the May 21 he says that the end of the world will happen 5 months after - still nothing happened.

Verse 12, 13: Increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved:

• Drug addiction, immorality, and wickedness
• Divorce overwhelms

Verse 14: The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come:

• Bible is translated in different languages so that the people from different nation and tongue will understand the Word of God.
• Technologies and social networking are now being used in spreading the Gospel

The exact date to when the end of time will happened was not mentioned in the Bible and that no one knows the Second Coming of Christ will be - only the Father knows. But the sign of the end of age is now taking place and we already see it in our own very eyes.

Friends, God give us these signs for us to be aware that our life has an end and that He comes not to destroy us but to save us from the eternal fire of hell.

So choose life, choose Jesus Christ or else we will face the consequences to our own decision of rejecting the free gift of salvation that only Jesus Christ can give.
